BRANDI
Brandi had two colts. The owners had to move to Canada and had to leave Brandi behind at a boarding facility - within one year of not being able to communicate with the boarding lady - they hired someone to find the boarder who had moved and took Brandi along - the hired driver who found Brandi sent the owners the 2 awful pictures attached... the owners called us and begged us to please go get her - which was 3 hours away from the rescue President Marty immediately stopped everything and left to get her - after being gone for 8 hours - he pulled in with poor Brandi.
Within a few months - we have the beautiful pictures of her below she was saved in July of 2019 and she has lived here ever since..... the owners in Canada know that they will never be able to come back for her or take her to them so she has become a lifer -
Because of the starvation in which she may have lived less than week if we had not gone to save her..she is very skittish to all of us here thinking we may hurt her. She is very food aggressive whereas we can't touch her while she eats as she is trying to protect her food. She was abused by a trainer while owned by the previous owners therefore poor Brandi has many distrust issues. She is here to live and be loved...
