DUSTY
Dusty is a retired thoroughbred
Central PA Horse Rescue rescued Dusty 4 years ago along with his best friend Marvin and little companion Carmella, the donkey. Dusty was rehabilitated and trained and adopted out with another rescue named Missy. They became best friends and lived together with their adoptive parent for 3 years then the adopter could no longer take care of them any longer and needed to surrender them both back to the rescue. Dusty, now around 16 years old, came back with severe arthritis in his back legs - the vet recommended that Dusty live the rest of his life as a companion. He can't be without Missy so we do believe we have a volunteer here at the rescue that will adopt Missy to finally support her so she can stay living here at the rescue with Dusty -
Dusty is gentle and sweet...and as long as Missy is in his site - he is very calm
