LIZ
Liz is approximately 23 years old, and has been at the rescue 3 years. She was surrendered after he previous owner died. Even though she is starting to gray, she doesn't show her age. She is the grand dame of her paddock and keeps the other horses in-line, especially feisty Patrick who seems to think she is his mother.
Good morning from Central Pa Horse Rescue, our star today is Liz, who tells us she knows spring is here and she's looking forward to many hours grazing in the pasture. She wants everyone to know she is getting good care and love at the rescue, and she is still 'in charge'! Don't let that grey hair fool you.
